Work and Education Experience

I obtained my CELTA certification from Teaching House, New York (Cambridge University). I'm also a trained and certified teacher in my state, New Jersey, in the USA. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in History and Education in 2015 from New Jersey City University.

• I had to student teach to earn my degree. I worked for 4 months in 2015, teaching 12 year olds Math, Science, English, and History.

• My first English teaching job was at a school in Costa Rica, teaching adults and children. I worked there for 18 months, from 2016-2017.

• I worked in a Brazilian community in 2018 in my home state of New Jersey.

• I started working online in 2018 and started to travel around the world with my job. I’ve been to 30 countries!

• I’ve learned three languages to fluency (conversational) level - Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. These days, I’m only confident in Spanish and Portuguese.

• I started Everything English with John during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

• Currently I work on YouTube and on italki. I often do it while traveling!

• I teach students from all languages and all cultures around the world!
